Sudeshna Pabi

Sudeshna Pabi has extensive experience working on climate and clean energy industry. She has conceptualized and managed numerous projects from conception to completion. She has led large scale decarbonization related deployments, that included development, evaluation and commercialization of innovative solutions and products.

Most recently, she has served as a Senior Scientist and Technical leader at Electric Power Research Institute with focus on clean energy solutions for problems related to energy and environment. There she conducted research and led demonstrations and commercialization in the areas of GHG emissions reduction, clean energy solutions and water-energy nexus. She has also spearheaded the analytics and software development to assess CO2 emissions reductions from clean energy products, programs and regulations. She has won several deployment focused grant awards from the California Energy Commission.

Dr. Pabi holds a M.S. and PhD degree from Stanford University and B.S. from Indian Institute of Technology. As NASA graduate research fellow at Stanford University, Dr. Pabi assessed the climate impacts on the carbon budget of the Arctic Ocean by coding numerical models and developing remote sensing algorithms.
