Mark Juergensen

As a Principal Advisor for Larta’s Commercialization Assistance Programs, Mark has mentored over 90 companies in the fields of clean technology, energy, defense, and transportation. In doing so he brings over 25 years of success in energy technology commercialization and energy project development.

Mark also currently serves as the Managing Director of CleanTech Energy Inc. He has supported a wide range of projects including; simple and combined cycle gas turbine, coal PC and gasification, wind, solar thermal, solar PV, geothermal, and other alternative energy technologies.

On the product side he oversaw commercialization of multiple clean energy technologies including solar PV, solar thermal, and solar plasmonics. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors for Pacific Integrated Energy and other energy companies. He has been a judge for NREL’s Annual Competition, California’s Clean Innovation Conference and Von Liebig Center Advanced Technology Competition at UCSD. He has been a mentor to NSF, DOE and CleanTech Open. Mark graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
