As a Principal Advisor for Larta's Commercialization Assistance Programs, Mark has mentored over 90 companies in the fields of clean technology, energy, defense, and transportation. In doing so he brings over 25 years of success in energy technology commercialization and energy project development.
Mark also currently serves as the Managing Director of CleanTech Energy Inc., and Board Member of ACJ Infrastructure Capital. He has supported a wide range of projects including simple and combined cycle gas turbine, coal PC and gasification, wind, solar thermal, solar PV, geothermal, and other alternative energy technologies.
On the product side he oversaw commercialization of multiple clean energy technologies including solar PV, solar thermal, and solar plasmonics. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors for Clean Venture, a nonprofit cleantech incubator, Pacific Integrated Energy, Los Angeles Power Association, and Sea Spray Research Foundation, a nonprofit company to determine the viability of utilizing cloud albedo for global warming mitigation. He has also previously been a judge in the California Clean Innovation Conference and Von Liebig Center Advanced Technology Competition at UCSD. Mark graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
