Vishnu Amble has over 16 years of work experience in the Energy, Power, Utilities & Technology Industries, primarily as an investor across stages & geographies. Mr. Amble currently serves as a Venture Investor at GreenGeneration Solutions, one of the US' fastest growing ESCOs, increasing their portfolio of technologies companies driving value to the built environment & energy efficiency. He is also on the Advisory Board of China General Nuclear Private Equity, EcoMachines Ventures, Chai Energy, iRestore Energy, Traverse Venture Partners.
Previously, Mr. Amble served as an Executive at E.ON SE, one of the world's largest Utilities, leading their initiatives in Emerging & Growth Markets, and building one of the world's largest Utility Corporate Venture portfolios, with investments in themes such as distributed energy resources, energy storage, electric mobility, digital customer engagement, IoT, blockchain, clean energy generation technologies, energy efficiency, connected home & consumer.
Prior to E.ON, Mr. Amble served as an Investment Manager at the Netherlands-based GCC Clean Energy Fund, one of the largest funds in Europe focused on Clean Energy Projects & Technologies, including projects in wind, solar, biomass, & waste, & technologies in solar, energy efficiency, electric mobility, logistics & fleet management, water & waste management, & energy storage.
Previously. Mr. Amble served as a Private Equity Investor in Power Infrastructure & Technology for leading firms such as the Carlyle Group & The Abraaj Group, in the US, Europe & Asia.
Mr. Amble started his career as a Power, Utilities & Infrastructure Investment Banker at Lehman Brothers in the US, Europe & Asia. He holds degrees in Economics & Computer Science from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
