Ferey has enjoyed a distinguished career in financing and managing technology companies built around innovations that are expected to add value to our lives. He started his career in academia and has built or improved many technology intensive businesses.

His finance expertise is built on both principal investing and transactional experience. He has principal investing experience as a venture partner and west coast representative of a $100m venture capital fund and as a principal in a $2b fund of funds. He has managed transactions in a number of M&A and private placement deals as a vice president in a boutique investment bank. In addition, he provides middle market buyout advisory and help with funding and managing early-stage venture backed companies. He is highly networked in the VC and private equity communities.

His general management experience consists of operating to CEO level in highly innovative and entrepreneurial small venture backed companies with emphasis on financial management, executive team leadership, advanced product development, competitive marketing strategy, business development, working closely with investors and entrepreneurs on a number of boards. He also was a senior management consultant serving Fortune 500 corporations at board level in 12 countries within Europe, Asia and the US. He has an exceptionally broad and deep exposure to technology innovation and product development in industries as varied as aerospace, oil & gas, industrial process control and automation, semiconductors, lighting, medical devices. This multi-track capability is reflected in his academic background with an MBA in Finance & Strategy and a PhD in Electronics. He is fluent in three languages.
