Dina is also a business strategist and Principal of CTD Consulting where she brings over fifteen years of business management and pharmaceutical experience to her clients. These clients include biotech, biopharma, disease management, and market services firms in the areas of strategy and analysis, market development, and leading innovative people.

Prior to forming CTD, Ms. Blumwest held various management positions at Merck and Squibb in the areas of marketing, market research, finance, disease management and integrated healthcare systems and was responsible for strategic partnerships with Johns Hopkins and Cleveland Clinic among others. She received several management awards during her tenure at Merck including one for creating an entrepreneurial division of Merck exploring product life cycle management. She also held an academic position at Virginia Tech prior to moving to the corporate sector.

Ms. Blumwest holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary, a Masters of Science and has attended executive courses at Wharton Business School.
