Executive Management
Art has held
numerous technology, investment and consulting positions in his forty-year
career. He recently sold American Perimeter Security, an electronic security
system integrator that he founded. From 1998 to 2003, Art served as CEO/COO
of Integrated Micromachines (IMMI), a MEMS products company in Monrovia,
California, where he helped transform the company from a research program
with fifteen scientists to a world-class manufacturing company with nearly
one hundred employees.
Prior to joining IMMI, Art was Chief Operating Officer, Director &
Corporate Secretary for Linx Technologies. He turned the company around,
made it profitable and successfully merged it with Mosler, Inc., where
he became Vice President and General Manager, overseeing the engineering,
marketing, manufacturing and construction departments of the Electronics
Systems Division. He has also served as: President of Mineral Development,
Inc., acting as a turnaround consultant to one of the few privately owned
mining companies in Arizona; President of Tech Investments & Executive
Vice President of Continental Capital, Vice President of Operations for
Shelley Electronics, Inc.; and COO of Hobie Cat during its public Offering.
Art has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles
Economic Development Corporation, a Member of the Larta Grants Board,
a Member of the Board of Governors of Cal Trout, and a Member of the Board
of Directors of the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce.
Art has a Master of Business Administration in Operations Research from
the University of Santa Clara, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
and Business Management from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Art divides his time between California and his home in Dallas Texas.
