Client Garners $4.9 Million in Financing
Larta Institute produced a report for VisiJet, Inc. on the
cataract and refractive surgery markets in 2004. A developer
of innovative technologies for the ophthalmic surgical market,
Visijet recently secured financing of $4.9 million.

CEO State Guest in Pakistan
Larta Institute CEO Rohit Shukla was a state guest
of the Government of Pakistan last week in celebration of

AUTM
Releases University Licensing Survey
Even with record participation from 165 U.S. universities
and 32 research hospitals, the 13th annual licensing survey
conducted by the Association of University of Technology
Managers (AUTM) reveals a 6.7 percent drop in the number
of start-up companies created with technology licensed from
the responding schools.
