Old
vs. New
Hard Technology Rises from the Ashes
1. "The
Old New Economy: Oil, Computers, and the Reinvention of the Earth"
from The Atlantic Monthly
In a speech last May, Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers,

snowballing information glut, and so people can keep abreast of
the latest stock market rally or plunge. Across Europe and Japan,
wireless technologies have rapidly become part of the social culture
and business environment. There's no turning back.
