Junior Staff

Editorial Intern

Editorial Intern will be responsible for transcribing audio recordings of interviews, assisting with online research, creating publications, and helping prepare the organization's quarterly and annual reports. This position will also require some copyediting and writing.

Qualifications: Undergraduate students, with excellent written and communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft applications a must. Candidates should be familiar with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Pagemaker. Prefer work study students, but may offer a small stipend to qualified students. Ability to work with others, yet be motivated to work independently. Must be organized.

Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern will provide assistance to the Program Consultant. He or she will help in the daily needs of the programs/marketing office and aid in designing, creating and preparing program materials/mailers and database compilation. He or she will provide support in marketing and promoting Larta's programs and conferences. He or she will also be expected to help with general office duties.

Qualifications: Undergraduate students, with excellent written and communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft applications a must. Prefer work study students, but may offer a small stipend to qualified students. Ability to work with others, yet be motivated to work independently. Must be organized. Background or interest in Marketing a plus.

Programs and Events Intern

Programs and Events Intern will provide assistance to technology companies in the region. He or she will help implement Larta University, a series of boot camps for startup technology companies and new entrepreneurs. He or she will help implement the Venture Salon, a program that takes startup technology companies, mentors them, and presents them in private showings to the venture capital and investment community. He or she will also be expected to help with general office duties.

Qualifications: Undergraduate students, with excellent written and communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft applications a must. Prefer work study students, but may offer a small stipend to qualified students. Ability to work with others, yet be motivated to work independently. Must be organized.
